David A. Williams Award for Exemplary Service 2009;
$1,000 Contributed to Rockingham County Hospice

Covington Power Services, headquartered in Greensboro, N.C .and with 218 employees at nine branch locations in North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia, annually honors the memory of an outstanding former employee, David A. Williams, by recognizing a Covington employee that provided exemplary customer service during the year.

Sandy Davis, Employee Benefit and Payroll Manager in Greensboro, North Carolina received the award at Covington’s Greensboro location on Wednesday, December 23, 2009.

To honor the memory of David A. Williams as well as the annual recipient, a donation is made to the charity designated by the award winner.  This year our award recipient Sandy Davis selected Hospice of Rockingham County.  A check in the amount of $1,000 was presented to Flavel Collins, Community Relations & Development Coordinator from Hospice of Rockingham County on January 27, 2010 at Covington Power Services in Greensboro.
