COVINGTON DETROIT DIESEL-ALLISON
CHANGES NAME TO
COVINGTON POWER SERVICES

GREENSBORO, NC (July 1, 2007) – Throughout the course of 2007, Covington Detroit Diesel-Allison, a division of Geneva Corporation, will be transitioning the company name to Covington Power Services. This new identity better represents the company as a premier provider of products, parts and service to customers for the internationally branded products that Covington offers. “Covington Power Services will continue to operate from nine locations throughout a three-state service area and provide our valued customers with the same outstanding support to which they have become accustomed during our 42-year history,” said David A. Leik, President of Covington Power Services.

Covington has recently relocated their existing operations based in Knoxville, Tennessee to a larger, newly renovated facility just minutes from the former location and is in the process of a similar renovation and expansion in the Nashville, Tennessee market. Both facilities feature updated service shops, customer lounges, showrooms and greater capacity to service customers than the prior facilities. The dynamic look of these buildings, coupled with the world-class headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina, provides the perfect opportunity to re-brand the company and reaffirm to the marketplace that Covington Power Services will continue to provide outstanding support services for customers. The complete re-branding and re-signing of all nine Covington facilities should be completed by the end of the third quarter, 2007.

Covington Power Services is a market-leading distributorship, authorized by Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmissions and MTU-Detroit Diesel; Covington is also a master warehouse for Muncie Power Products. Covington provides diesel engine solutions, branded by Detroit Diesel, Mercedes Benz and MTU, from 30 to 10,000 horsepower, along with MTU -Detroit Diesel generators from 20 to 3,250 kW, Allison transmissions, truck parts for the entire vehicle, Reviva remanufactured engines and Muncie Power Products PTO’s.  With nine branches throughout North Carolina, Tennessee, and North Georgia, Covington offers product, parts and service support 24 hours a day to customers in the On-Highway Transportation, Construction, Industrial, Marine and Power Generation markets.  Covington has been serving a diversified customer base since 1965 and has grown to become one of the larger distributorships for the products represented.
