Gilbert T. Patille of Climax, North Carolina receives

David A. Williams Award for Exemplary Service 2007

Covington Power Services, headquartered in Greensboro, NC and with 300 employees at nine branch locations in North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia, annually honors the memory of an outstanding former employee, David A. Williams, by recognizing a Covington employee that provided exemplary customer service during the year.

The 2007 winner of the David A. Williams Award for Exemplary Service is Gilbert T. Patille. 

Gilbert has been with Covington for 26 years - 20 years as a field service technician.   The partnership he has with his customers is best evidenced by the fact that many of them ask for him by name when service is required. His on-time repairs, zero comebacks and quality work improved Covington’s service to our customers during 2007.

As part of the award Gilbert and Covington presented a $1,000 donation in memory of David A. Williams to the American Cancer Society.
